Early Science from Low-frequency Radio Telescopes

The MWA collaboration invites all members of the astronomical community to join us in discussing early science results from low-frequency radio telescopes, including the MWA, PAPER, LOFAR, LWA, GMRT, CHIME, and 21CMA. With many of these telescopes now operational, it is an exciting time for the community to share initial results and compare lessons learned as we move ahead toward new efforts.

The meeting will be held on the Tempe campus of Arizona State University on December 8-10, 2014.


Extended capabilities for the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA): A Community Workshop

The purpose of this workshop is to discuss the possibilities for future expansion or upgrade of the MWA in order to leverage the built value of the instrument and the investment to date to support enhanced scientific productivity.

The June 2013 MWA Project Meeting will be held in Seattle. The primary meeting will be 17-19 June 2013. Additional workshops may be planned around the meeting, including an EoR busy week June 20-26. The Board will meet immediately following the main meeting on 20 June 2013.


Pre-Operations Meeting (Perth 2013)

This will be an important meeting that will bring together the MWA project staff and users for the last time, before MWA operations commence. Attendance is strongly encouraged for anyone who anticipates proposing for MWA observing time and/or working on MWA datasets from the full array.
